We’re Moving – And Here’s Why It’s Good News for Your Dog

Change can feel unsettling – especially when it involves somewhere your dog knows and loves. So before anything else, we want to say this clearly: Everything Dog isn’t changing. The team isn’t changing. The services aren’t changing. The standards aren’t changing.

What is changing is our address – and we think once you see what we’ve got to work with, you’ll understand why we’re excited.

The Big News

From Monday 21 September, Everything Dog will be operating from our brand new home at 347 Blenheim Road, Christchurch.

We know change isn’t always welcome – and we know some of you have built your routines around where we are now. That means a lot to us. So we want to be upfront about what to expect, and honest about why we made this move.

Everything You Love – Just Better

The new space is bigger. Everything is on one level. And it’s been purpose-built, just like our current home, with your dog’s enrichment and wellbeing at the centre of every decision.

Same daycare programme. Same boarding kennels with staff on-site overnight. Same grooming team and their gentle, positive reinforcement approach. Same training. Same raw food and store. All of it – just more space to do it in.

For your dog, that means more room to explore, more enrichment zones, and the same familiar faces greeting them at the door.

A Location More People Can Reach

Blenheim Road is one of Christchurch’s main arterials – well-signposted, easy to find, and closer to the CBD than our current location. For a lot of our customers, the new address will actually be more convenient than Wairakei Road. For others, it might mean a slightly different route than you’re used to.

Either way – we’ll be easy to spot, easy to get to, and very easy to find if you’ve ever driven past and thought “I’m sure it’s around here somewhere.”

Minimal Disruption – Just One Closed Day

We’re doing everything we can to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your dog.

The only day we’ll be closed is Saturday 19 September while the team makes the move. Sunday 20 September is our regular day off. That means we’ll be open and welcoming dogs at the new Blenheim Road location from Monday 21 September – business as usual, new address.

We didn’t move because we needed to. We moved because we found a space that lets us do what we do – even better.

Everything we do, we do for dogs. That hasn’t changed. It never will.
